Barcelona’s marinas and shipyard, and how to get a car to each one

Between Castelldefels and Badalona there are seven places where a yacht can berth or go into the yard, each with its own gate and rules for vehicles. This is where the driver stops at each one, and how long it takes from the airport.

Before you book

Three things that save time at the gate

  • Tell us the pontoon or the berth, not only the marina: some marinas are a long walk from end to end.
  • Tell us if the marina or the yard has authorised the vehicle to enter. If not, the driver waits at the gate.
  • Late at night, give the crew the phone number of the marina reception: some gates are opened by the reception.

Frequently asked questions

Which marina is closest to the airport?

Port Ginesta, about 20 minutes without traffic. Port Vell, MB92 and Marina Vela are about 21 to 35 minutes, and Badalona about 30 to 45.

Do you go to marinas outside Barcelona?

Yes. Port Ginesta to the south, Port Fòrum and Badalona to the north, and the Costa Brava ports of Palamós, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Roses.

Is the price fixed?

Yes. You see it in the price box before you book and it does not change with traffic. Late night and early morning transfers cost what you see when you book.

Can you take a whole crew with their bags?

Yes, up to 22 people per vehicle and several vehicles at the same time. Enter the crew and the bags in the price box.
